I think somewhere around 7th to 9th is reasonable. I don’t think we have the depth of quality in the squad to push higher.

We'll have the referees to deal with, so I wouldn't build your hopes up too much. Don't think for one minute we won't be kicking off about VAR and somebody facing a three game ban after being sent off in a dodgy decision within a couple of games. any fans now “expecting” top 6 after a couple of signings need to take a moment and remember how crap we have been. This stuff is never guaranteed to be resolved in one window.

the flip flopping fans are the worst. The ones who flip between we are gonna be great and mouthing off, and we are crap sack the manager and sell the players and mouthing off....

with Carlo and the new signings we are giving ourselves a better chance at a great season, but we are still only a few months into a path from utter rubbish to something more solid and reliable.
