Lucien Favre anybody's? Done very well with Monchengladbach. Maybe a foreign manager this time- someone proven outside of the Uk? Also it annoys me how this club has no intention to go forward. A manager plays this bad you sack him. We have not been invested in yet either. Are we going to suffice with being a mid-table team forever?

Decent shout but if Gladbach make the Champions League he probably wouldn't be in a hurry to leave

Bilic had a seriously poor last 16 round in Europa too - the draw against Brugge was supposed to be the handy one and Besiktas lost both legs

When Moyes left, I said I expected bill to try it again - pull a highly rated lower league manager into the PL and hope it comes off. He didn't, I was surprised.

If Martinez went, I think he'd do it this time - somebody like Eddie Howe

But I'd prefer to see someone continental who knows the European market.

We should be past lower league managers by now

Eddie Howe would be a worse risk than Martinez has been.

Someone like Steve Bruce would probably steady the ship and get us in the top half. He's managed to do better than Martinez over the years with similar level clubs.

For me theres only two names:

De Boer
Klopp

De Boer is a proven winner and plays young players which he has half of a top side of with us.

Klopp should see us as the next best option outside the top teams who wont change managers anytime soon.
