Who could replace Martinez ?

He took teams down who spent a hell of a lot more than Wigan ever did too.

He just wouldn't fit Everton imo He's a chancer, a southern cockney geezer who thinks he's pally with everyone and can't hold his own water when it comes to telling the world who he's trying to sign. Just not my cup of tea for a manager. Tim Sherwood has been mentioned, he's an absolute tit of the highest order as well, so far up his own arse.

Totally agree with you mate. Apart from the personality problem he'd want vast amounts of money to spend and, as you said earlier, his record is not exactly great.

Agreed mate. Not too sure who we will get in tbh but I'm 100% convinced we will have a new manager by the time the dust has settled after Man City next week. Unless barring a miracle the players decide that they actually can remember how to do the basic principles of football but I'm not holding my breath tbh mate. I guess if I had to go for anyone my choice will be Royle until end of the season, he won't take any crap from this gang of imposters we've had to endure.

There's Defoe no European manager available better than Martinez

Agreed. There's no getting away from how poor we've been in the last few games. Things need to improve. But the idea that bringing in a new manager as the solution still seems too much. I haven't done the research, but it'd be interesting to know what percentage of teams worried about relegation sacked their manager only to go down anyway, and also ushered in a period of instability. Last season seemed a good example...Fulham, Cardiff, etc. And what about Allardyce and Pardew who lost more games in their bad runs and were absolute musts for the sack, only to turn things around? And they never had a fifth place finish to defend themselves.

Personally I would give Martinez the next 3 league games, if we get anything less than 3 points then he needs to go.

Get Royle in til the end of the season then get De Boer.

What I will say Is that De Boer would probably come earlier, he said he wouldn't leave clubs mid season but if a side with the quality of players that we have came up he would jump at the chance imo

Doubtful imo, he'll want a CL job.

People say that like CL jobs are available all other the place. He's at a club that gets CL football every season but wants to move.

If a top 6 quality side with players like Lukaku, Mirallas, Barkley and Baines are available any young manager worth their salt would jump at the chance don't kid yourself mate. Positions at clubs like Atletico, Arsenal, Roma etc. are not ready available

has there been any serious candidates here? ANY?

remember some saying that because we dont sack martinez shows we will never be a big club - thats a biggest piece of bull ive ever heard...more so i think it shows that some have no idea of what our club represents
