With respect Kev, you don't know that, if you do please provide evidence and sources.
Well that's nonsense.
Moyes had us 15th in the league after 13 games in that season, taking us as low as 16th in the table. We were consistently 14th or below for the majority of the season.
It's generally accepted the players aren't giving their all which is a typical sign of a manager having lost the dressing room. The constant chopping and changing of players suggests he doesn't trust them. The social media outbursts by Garbutt, Distin's alleged bust up with him together with apparent confrontations with oviedo stones and besic.
Look at the team Moyes had though. Would he have had us down there if he had a 30 million centre forward upfront getting service from Mirallas and Barkley? In Lukaku Etoo Naismith and Kone Martinez has 4 strikers who are probably better (on paper at least) than any striker Moyes ever had except for Rooney. There is no way we should be anywhere near the bottom half of the table with the players Martinez has. Given Arsenal are stumbling we should be where Southampton are if the players played for their manager. They don't though so either they or the manager need to go.
In terms of replacements I'd just get someone who is a proven winner. Anyone up and coming is a gamble that is not guaranteed to pay off and i honestly think this group of players are not professional enough to listen to an Eddie Howe type. They need an LVG type, someone of indisputable authority to demand performances from them. He was going to go to Tottenham so coaches of that calibre are clearly interested in big jobs in the premier league.
Knowing Everton though if Martinez was replaced we'd uninspiringly go in-house along the Neville, Weir, Ferguson, Stubbs route.
De Boer clearly wants a PL move and I think you could get him. He said Newcastle were a sleeping giant and so I'm sure he'd be interested in Everton. It's a big 2nd half of the season for Martinez now if he wants to continue long-term.

Spot on mate he would snap a move to the Prem up especially with a squad that can challenge for top 4 straight from the off. It's just if Kenwright would go for him or not

This squad shouldn't be 6 points off 10th place and 4 off relegation. I think too many blues are letting last season cloud their judgements. Martinez has massively failed this season and hasn't shown any ability to turn it around.
