Let's call a spade a spade: there is no board making decisions, this is an autocracy on the major decision making. Moshiri is to blame for reneging on promises.

And by the way, in all this spare a thought for our fallen comrade @The Esk . Lukaku's words emphasise that the players he was saying were on the cusp of signing were actually set up but the cheque wasn't signed. The only possible failure of the esk was that, perhaps out of loyalty, he tried to minimize the amount of dilly dallying from the owner's side and placed more emphasis on agents arseing about. But the substantial info was spot on.

I agree deffo on this mate well done on realising it

We the supporters have to be included, so quick to get on players backs because as much as we love our heroues at everton we love to have a scapegoat too.

The slightest bit of information we don't like and there is immediate uproar, it starts as media guff and we tend to give it fuel and it takes on a life of its own and always plays against us. Think we need to take a step back more often from the circus we help to create.

3) the media.

Rom's article has been overblown so much, it's now a devastating attack on Everton, he's now a 'want-away striker', he's 'refusing to sign' (clearly no such thing as ongoing negotiations) etc.

No party is innocent, but it's been blown out of all proportion by the usual suspects.

This tbh

They had a fire sale on talk sport earlier. There's only the tea lady left, her demands were ridiculous though...

Well written.

Where's Jim White to defend our honour in our hour of need?
