Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Herr Klipp says he will not leave the RS unless someone decides otherwise. If he was sacked soon would you have him as our coach? Please don't come back with crap like you wouldn't touch an R S with a barge pole. We have taken several vg ex RS players in the past. If they are good enough for them then why not?

Feel like if there is to be a move I’d like to see someone like Rúben Amorim. Need some signings right now, obviously, but I don’t think it would be a reach at all to snag him from sporting.

I`ve listened to people on here, podcasts, YouTube and other Evertonians and alot are talking about "short term appointments" in managers....

I mean SERIOUSLY, most of the fanbase have been saying "We cant keep sacking managers", thats why Lampard is still here, those clinging to Lampard are the ones getting us to where we are in the league today....

Flabbergasted...

Next appointment needs to be long term, too many short term. Dyche would be the rinse and repeat choice....

Next manager needs to keep us up, nothing else matters.

IF / WHEN Lampard is dismissed, who comes in? Forget the fancy names the cold facts are we're an awful proposition and we need a quick turn around. I don't have the answers myself but I can see us getting in Moyes. Even on a Sam Allardyce style 18 month deal. What would worry me is a) his connection to one previous owner, and b) If he's clueless with West Ham what are we doing getting him?

Perhaps the answer is quite simply he has a connection here (I don't mean the chairman) and we need a change, pronto. I just remembered didn't he get relegated with Sunderland?

Other than Carlo coming back with Davide and Dunc I just don't know who else comes in or what steps we're going to take to change this. Unless by magic we win the next few matches. Imagine that!

Well, he did get a European semi-final last season and top-7. I mean, he's not glamorous, but he's a good manager. Also, West Ham have been quite unlucky and are well underperforming Xg etc. So fine margins like balls hitting bars and the like have them down further than their play merits.

Just been listening to a lengthy Moyes interview, says he noticed a downturn from January last year so felt he needed to break the team up a bit before it really nose-dived. Says he has a better squad now but not a better team, yet, and he might not get many chances to go for it, so he went for it. Not working well so far.

Also made LOTS of references to owners buying players without manager agreement, and how he would say no. Strongly believes it’s not how it should work. He’ll love it here.

It feels like over the last 30 years this club exists just to survive.
My question now is what exactly are we surviving for ?
Dyche may secure us safety (although he’s already failed twice to do that with Burnley)
But at best he’ll just return us to that purgatorial mid table nothingness we’ve already occupied for far too long.
