Who should replace Frank Lampard?

The worst thing about a new manager coming in is it’s a clean slate for all the sh!te players we’ve seen who aren’t good enough for us.

We’ll have to sit and watch them give Mykolenko, Gray, Coleman, Iwobi, McNeil etc a whole load of new chances to show us what we all already know…they’re not good enough.

Rinse and repeat - players out!!

Ultimately, we need to have a football manager. One who will come, now.

The reality is, who would come?

I wanted Emery before Villa got him. Those types of managers we've not got a sniff of a chance now.

So we either go completely unproven/untested an hope they can handle the pressure of 1) trying to keep us up and if not, relegation and 2) trying to promote us first time of asking.

The only bloke I can think of is Sean Bloody Dyche. He kept worse teams up for 5+ seasons. He had worse teams promoted at first time of asking.

Maybe a football hipster can come along and tell me someone else.

I’d take Dyche based on he’s got a better chance of keeping us up than Lampard.

There’s a lot of managers out of work though Poch Tuchel Enrique Zidane probably out of our reach

There’s even ones like Prandelli Bosz AVB - probably not suited to being dropped into a PL campaign.

Then there’s previous links to Vitor and Nuno. Although Vitor isn’t free and Nuno doesn’t have much experience of turning something around.

Which sort of brings us back to Dyche.

My personal preference is we go begging to Mourinho at Roma but I doubt he’d leave.

Nope!

If you're hellbent on Dyche you're not going to be receptive to who I'd throw out and I've got other things to do today.

I'm not at all - it's too late now anyway but pragmatism friend.

I've said openly Dyche is the only person I can think of, and I've given my reasons why.

I don't care who you say, I'm not expecting you to convince me - who cares? my point is if you can't name any plausible alternatives, then your criticism of "The board going with Dyche would be unforgivable" etc loses validity.
