If we weren’t on the brink of relegation I’d actually back a move like this. He was apparently our coach when Carlo was here, Carlo mostly did just tactics.

That being said we literally just seen Paul Clement at the club, seen as a fantastic coach, one of the best around at some points, dreadful manager though. Could see the same with Davide. It’s a risk but then again look at Arteta at the moment.

I only mention Clement specifically because he held the exact same position as Davide, assistant to Carlo. Very similar situations.
