The problem is clearly at the back. Same players making same elementary mistakes and not quick enough. Keane is woeful , holgate no better , coleman to slow , Godfrey lost all confidence , Kenny no use … this is nothing we haven’t all been saying for 18 months. Imagine being a forward or midfielder in that team … your heart would be broken as we look like conceding any time another team gets the ball forward . Serious clear out needed or nothing will change. Just need some points on the board and best way to get them is stop conceding stupid goals.

It's easier to rule out players from this statement. The only ones I don't think this was aimed at are Gordon, Richarlison, Pickford and Coleman. I think the rest could easily be the targets of that criticism.

Hard to see that as anything other than an attack on the senior players. Bottle or lack of it is a consequence of problems with leadership within the squad.

That said, he has the means to change it to an extent and hasn't really done so thus far.

Agree with first statement but not so much the second. He’s caught between a rock and a hard place. He needs to pick his battles in the dressing room otherwise it really will be game over for him.
I’d love to be a fly on the wall when he’s speaking with his backroom team in private, (the ones that he brought in.)
