I haven't shut it out at all - Although I could ask the same about you with Walker.

I'm in no way defending smith, but ffs - don't compare horse poo with cow poo. Both stink as bad as the other.
Walker cant even be judged alongside long serving managers. He's on a par with an interim manager for me.

He was the full time manager though wasn't he and he was utter horse turd. You like to arrange things for your own agenda don't you.

He was turd, he got sacked and he will be remembered as one of our worst ever managers, there is no interim nonsense about it.

As was Smith may I add, only not as bad that's why he lasted longer.

This boy is playing terrific, anything short of a length and it's going going gone.

"Olivier Dacourt gave an interview to a French soccer magazine during which he said:
*** **’Mr Smith told me to go out and foul players. When I asked him about yellow and red cards the gaffer replied; “you don’t worry about yellow and red cards, I’ll worry about red and yellow cards”‘.*"

Good advice that. You always need a bit of steel in midfield.

"No questions, boss, but you must have the warmest bed in Liverpool!"

Says it all really. From the security of mid-table to the relegation zone and the closest we've ever been relegated for decades within 2 months. Then into the new season and no wins in the first 13 games of The Premier League. Royal comes in and with the exact same squad, goes on and wins the F.A Cup and secures our safety.

Walker was better than Smith HAHAHAHAHAHA

It's not even close.

Mike Walker far worse, in every conceivable measure - length of stay, losses, had us bottom of the table & stranded, never won anything with anyone else, basically a total charlatan.

Smith was a perfectly acceptable bottom half of the table manager who played tedious football but strangled the life out of expectations at the club, to the point we became 'relegation threatened Everton'. The myth that Moyes & his media cronies peddled about how Moyes rescued us from relegation battling, as if that was all we'd known, instead of the truth that it had only been 4 years of bog average fare under Smith (and 1 bad year under Kendall 3).

Walker was sacked in the October/November (i forget). Imagine if he'd had been given until March like Smith did when he was sacked in his final season.

Wept !!
