3 or 4 years!! He needs replacing in January. We're not getting top 4 with Howard in goal.
Tbh we ain't getting top four anyway with City/United/Chelsea/Liverpool/Spurs in the league.

Let's be honest.

We can't even beat Bournemouth from two goals up, or beat Crystal Palace at home once in three years.

Is it May already, gosh it feels like it was on yesterday I was preparing for Christmas..
All I am saying is that I put us at the bottom of the pile of the clubs I mentioned, in terms of likelihood of achieving a top four finish. Given our recent form and the fact we have one striker, two pathetic goalkeepers and a dodgy defence, one class winger and one good one who the manager refuses to play, I think that's fair.

There's plenty of components in our team that all those overs would love to have to make them better. But clearly you're a more of a whingey arse glass is half empty type though and refuse to see the positives in anything.

Supporting a football club must be hell for you.

I guess you don't know Everton FC that well.

Feel free to check my post history, where you'll find many positive comments about our players and club. I don't need to explain myself.

I'd love us to make top four, but cannot see it happening with this current squad.

Reports are coming out of Ukraine that we are preparing a bid to bring 27-year-old shot-stopper Denys Boyko to Everton this January on a £3-£4m deal from Dnipro.

Shares the same agent as Yarmolenko which is why we have been linked with him mate, agent mentioned that Martinez was following a few players from the Ukrainian league so press have looked at his client list and our needs and done an easy and probably jarg link between the two.

For what it's worth he's looked a pretty good keeper when I've seen him - which isn't that often tbf, no idea how he'd adjust to playing in a different league and country though

Keepers are a strange one.

Ferguson signed a few for united who couldnt adapt. Would have thought shot stopping would be the same and maybe only coming out and catching the ball rather than punching being the main difference?

They dont really have to be team players either i suppose....

Just checked at Peter Schmechel only signed for Man Utd at the age of 28 and had been capped for Denmark 33 times by then.

I suppose it just goes to show that sometimes keepers may be ignored until later on in their careers.

robles will be next. If martinez trusts him enough to play then I would imagine he is always planned to be the successor.

If this is the case then I would imagine he is simply playing the experienced keeper ahead of him while he develops which isn't a bad thing.
