Woeful's a bit harsh. He should be doing better. The players should be doing better, but how much better can we realistically expect with our squad ? If we had a striker who was capable of busting a gut to get onto the end of a cross we'd probably have scored five or six more goals than we have this season and might have three or four more points ?He can't live off past achievements, when he's woeful now.
would another manager who may take the job with the same resources get us to finish any higher than seventh.

To answer the question, I'd go for Ancellotti, or Emery.
Proven, talented and perfect for Everton.
Whether they would be interested..
You don't know until the position becomes available who will apply That's why the whole "who would you replace him with" arguement is a complete waste of time in my opinion. You just don't know! Contracts aren't worth the paper they're written on these days.
Also a waste of time as Moyes isn't going anywhere.

I expect nothing more than 7th mate. We have the 7th best squad in my opinion.
Will Moyes achieve that this season though?
The table is tight. We should be aiming to reel Newcastle/Liverpool in during our 'easy run'.
All we're aiming for is survival apparently mate.
