I have become a Lamps fan from a few minutes ago. Utterly great midfielder, wouldn't need to spend a month finding his feet. Young, media savvy (I think). Come on Lamps!!! If there’s one thing I know about bad managers it’s that they like yes men, if at the very least people that massage their egos. With that in mind the 3 man league table would read pereira, Rooney, lampard. I can’t see lampard taking much sh1t off mosh so would be surprised if he got it. Also think that if it didn’t work out Lamps might call everyone out on it. Rooney like Ferguson wouldn’t want to damage the club. So by this logic pereira gets it. I just can’t see how things are suddenly going to change for the better, 6 in 6 years says it all. That’s 6 YEARS, anyone worth their salt as a manager or owner would have stopped repeating the same mistakes over and over.

Really want to be positive but at the moment I can’t.

I’ve no real strong preference given the likely candidates. I just want someone to come in with a plan to get the best out of the available players. That would be a nice start.

Think Myers lost his ‘in’ at the club a long time ago. Just seems to regurgitate whatever the mainstream media is saying now.

The only thing that the new board has managed to get a control of is they’ve been air tight for leaks. In the Kenwright days there used to be quite a few ITKs, transfer rumours were known for a long time etc. now there’s barely anything until a deal is about to be done.

My feeling is, as I said last, we are interviewing people. I'd imagine Kenwright and Kia J are vying for Moshiris attention, and probably both over selling the progress to managers.

I didnt think we would just fly in Pereira to appoint him, before speaking to Rooney, and probably Lampard (perhaps again) this week.

They seem to be the 3 names currently.

I know we all have our favourites and mine would be Erik Ten Hag, the current Ajax manager if we could get him.

And like a stuck record I will repeat that we should steer very clear of anything Dutch given our recent dealings.
