The window closes a week today. Do you think that any new manager, even if announced today, would have sufficient time to get any players in? Seems a big ask to me but you may know better then I do
I know that deals are done on deadline day after a few hours negotiating in a panic. So a week gives any man who is about to be announced the time to get wheels in motion in a non-panicky way.

Now what do you make of this latest post, because it suggests to me something (for him unwanted) is afoot....or maybe Ilm reading too much into it?

An appointment that is likely to split opinion (could be one of a few to be fair) and he’s setting a narrative down now about being 100% behind them before any confirmation.

I could be way off of course and have my delusion paranoid hat on.

How many loans are we allowed now ? I guess we have El Ghazi.
Never thought about that. The PL website states the following:

- Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time.
- The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time.
- Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window.
- A Premier League club may loan not more than one of its goalkeepers to another Premier League club.
