Echoes of lads clamouring for Garbutt to replace Baines last season. Joel isn't the solution. I would have given him a run last season when we were safe and had nothing to lose but that time is over now. Howard has been good this season, our second walloping hasn't changed that.

We need a new keeper....it's that simple.

Still hearing positive things about Kieran Westwood at Sheffield Wednesday and Everton keeping a 'very close' eye on him. If his season is as good as it was last season then watch this space. Well connected with the other Irish boys at Everton too in Seamus, Gibbo, James McCarthy and McGeady. I know we had informal talks with him a season or so ago and it nearly materialised before he went to Sunderland.

We need a new 'keeper. Howard is a liability - but Robles is 10 times the liability. Anyone who thinks otherwise is off their head!

Robles wouldn't even get the shout for the Capital Cup game against Norwich if I had my way. He's gonna cost us in that competition....mark my words!
