Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

I thought McLaren F1 had been fully taken over by the Bahrain's sovereign wealth fund?

Cheers Zat. So Augsberg are one of their stable and MSP want to sell . Why ? To increase liquidity to move on Everton or Spurs ?

The other football teams Estoril , Beveren , Brondby and a 2nd tier Spanish team are pretty insignificant. Do they have a track record of investing and transforming the fortunes of those clubs?

I'd really like to know why you are all in on them.

I can't see anything that persuasive so far.

I have no idea about those teams or xgames or even McLaren.

The main thing for me is the fact they do own all -- that must be a positive. We dont see protests like with City or 777 and we dont see any negativity.

Coupled with that the $3.75bil Spurs bill shows they have a massive appetite for a top 6 club.

I dont see why with that money behind us we couldnt get back there.

Sounds like they all think they have a chance with this sexy footie club.

But who is blagging it about their private yacht and who is the real saudi prince charming ?

Over to you, our Graham....

Will it be contestant number one, successful scousers who don't mind a lager too many in the Man City hospitality suite.

Or contestant number two, the jilted Spurs fans who seem ready to settle down with their less attractive mate.

Contestant number three is already married to a South London club but swears he is going to leave her.

Contestant number four, the Top Gun with a penchant for Italian, one big club is not enough to satisfy his appetite.

Contestant number five, the plucky millenial who'll bring all his mates.

The decision...is yours (Moshiri)

He wanted what’s best for Everton but was far too narcissistic for anyone to convince him, he wasn’t what was best for Everton and was in fact the was the reason the club was held back for years. Anybody who ever raised such concerns were quickly removed and replaced by another nodding dog.
Which is what a lot of useless businessmen do. He was so far behind the times,he acted as if he was the reincarnated John Moores (without the fortune) But to doubt his credentials as a Blue is wrong.

….i think I read yesterday he was partner in a hotel business with somebody from Middle East but I can’t find the article.
Somebody mentioned that Manoukian is part owner of the Dorchester Hotel with the Sultan of Brunei.

EDIT
Just found this on Wiki - In June 1998 the brother of the Sultan of Brunei, Prince Jefri Bolkiah, was sued by his former business partners in a case that was settled out of court.[37] During the case the Manoukians claimed that Prince Jefri kept 40 prostitutes at a time at the Dorchester. 😂 😂 😂

BK to me isn't an Everton fan. He's a con artist. Shyster who used Everton.

I dont think Bell and Downing are like that. The evidence certainly points to them not being like that.

I've never seen the club run so close to the wall as it is now. I genuinely think that a genuine Everton fan would make the decisions needed now more cautiously and differently to this other bid, who, seem to have popped up from the same London scene that Moshiri hangs about in.

Being an Everton fan doesn't automatically qualify someone to be a good owner but if you look at most of the clubs whom have faced oblivion in the top two divisions, it's nearly always owners whom have zero connection to the club who scurry off and leave others picking up the pieces.

As for Moshiri. There's been so much conjecture surrounding his reign that he didn't actually do much to improve the club. He simply relied on hand outs and when they dried up, zoned out.
I'm convinced that Usmonov whs playing a prank, by picking a random guy and making him a billionaire, just to see how things went

Curious about the reported 400 mill investment, what’s the plans for that…..

Seems unlikely to me they are taking over the club without either some debt restructuring, agreement with creditors or a new plan to manage the debt - whole making that investment if it’s not going to manage the debt - doesn’t make sense.

Maybe part of it is..,but the detail is important here.

Take the MSP loan, prob the most immediate being 160 mill, 90 mill to finish the stadium, that’s 250 mill, before you blink.

Something doesn’t add up for me here.
Finally a sensible post.
