The Vatche bid looks best to me at this point.

Manoukian and his consortium have proposed an all-equity offer which would not take on additional debt and would aim to create a sustainable, long-term strategy.

They see Everton as a "sleeping giant" of English football with potential to secure a place "at the top of world football again" through the new stadium being built on Bramley-Moore Dock.

What’s the betting our one is Billy Al Saud worth £180k who moved to Skem in the 70’s after a ding dong with the boss 🙄

To be fair their press release isnt gonna say :

Manoukian and his consortium are aiming to utterly rinse the fanbase for every penny and load the club with massive debts while they take it to League One.

I'm looking forward to the next leaked PR statement from a "contender" in this "race" to own Everton moving to the top of the popularity polls by mentioning the key trigger phrases "banks of the royal blue Mersey", "Moonlight dribblers", "William Ralph Dean", "Sir John Moores", "Mersey millionaires", and "Uncle Cyril's handlebars"...

i agree that they’ll want to clear the most expensive debt. But they may not be able to depending on the covenants in place.

Whether public or private, secured debt would have seniority over junior.

My guess is the 400m clears MSP and RMF with moshiri receiving a nominal payment for his loan that is defacto equity.

That leaves the 777 loan which you believe would have to be paid off immediately with more debt. 777 will be happy to receive the interest. My guess is that we’d be in a better position to refinance long term in 12 months rather than immediately.

There is no way that moshiri is getting 400m for his equity and then they are going to drop 600m to clear the debt (given there has been no mention of debt refinancing in the article).
Senior debt obviously has seniority but that’s not relevant here. If all the debt has a CoC clause and the lenders invoke it then it will all need to be repaid. Seniority doesn’t come into. Absent some completely heinous prepayment fee there’s no way investors are going to repay senior debt and leave really expensive junior debt in place. That makes no sense. That’s like over paying on your mortgage when you have a massive credit card bill. Ultimately none of us have a clue what any of the terms are so it’s fairly pointless speculating.

I know it's only for fun Zat but in all honesty I don't think I can register a vote until I know a lot more about all the proposals.

Once in a while youre allowed to take your legal hat off :)

If you had a gun to your head, who would you go for?

"Two Evertonians" with zero business background or experience in sports.

If they were a pair of Londoners I cant imagine the votes they'd have...

May as well be Vinnie Jones and Dennis Wise to me.

Apparently theyre open to others joining their bid.

Money and know-how is what they need.

In August 2022, Ratcliffe expressed interest in buying the Premier League club Manchester United,[40] a team he has supported since childhood.[41] The following January, INEOS announced publicly that it had entered into the formal process of bidding for Manchester United, after the current owners announced it was looking for new investors.[42][43] On 24 December 2023, Manchester United announced that Ratcliffe had acquired a 25 percent stake in the club, marking a significant development, as INEOS Sport assumed control over football operations.[44] The purchase was completed in February 2024

Ratcliffe wasnt weeks.

It took 2 years and 1 month for him to complete the deal.
