I wouldn't completely rule out Textor and Friedkin coming to an agreement over buying the club.

Textor having Lyon and Friedkin having Roma opens up the possibility of greatly increasing both parties multi club ownership model.

I cant see that at all, Textor wants control, its the main reason he is leaving palace and I dont see Friedkin wanting to be a silent partner. I think it would be one or the other, perhaps with a minority partner who is less interested in being front and centre, like the Dell group.

As much as I do not like to crush the dreams of those who reside in cuckoo land... but John Textor will not be buying EFC.
Trying to upsurp the esk from the throne of king of false prophets? yeah that tracks you typically adopt stances that don't age well

Up until he launched his full bid it was reported that Friedkin was only interested in a minority stake in us. I don't know if that's true or if so what changed but he may well be happy with a lesser interest.

Textor submitted the same offer that was already passed over.
If he has already submitted an offer of £X then is it the case he has already completed his due diligence? Put another way, he has already seen the same issues that caused Friedkin to walk away and is comfortable with them?

Or is that voyage of discovery still awaiting Textor?
