The "if I know about business" that wasn't my question.

And if it's to get a better deal and moshiri out for only £20mill more they could have done that after enacting the charge they had. This way they put themselves at risk of losing out to someone else.

Not business smart imo.

Wasn't mean to be patronizing. We're getting 18% interest on our loans. This is an investment. You are way too emotional about this.

If someone pays you 18% on your loans, you keep the loans alive until a better deal comes along.

They clear out Moshiri for 20 million more and he agrees to sell his remaining shares over a set time period.

If you are familiar with businesses, the more hands in the till, the less the attractive the investment is
I'm no businessman, but if i ran an Investment company and another bidder with that type of backing was interested in coming in to a club that owes us money, a club with our level of debt, not to mention the amount of additional investment required to turn it around, but with an admittedly decent potential upside somewhere down the line, id be inclined to stand aside and take a minority stake.

But like i say, I'm not a businessman.

Good luck finding a socialist billionaire to bankroll us back to glory...

Just not donating £100s of thousands to a diabolical tory party would do tbh, especially if they're supposed to be a salt of the Earth Scouser. Unless you fancy a Jim Ratcliffe figure who will make thousands of staff redundant because the only thing that matters is money.
