Apparently though were going to be his crowning jewel despite his team saying Roma will always be the centrepiece of a multi club structure.
We only made 16m less in revenue last season than Roma. Now think of difference in seasons we had.

Good news that 777 are history and there is new interest from potential buyers but in a strange way there could be too many interested parties now and getting to end of this process could take forever.

We all need to be streetwise here, its lovely to think that these people are interested in the club because - we have massive potential and are an amazing club.

Thats not without a sheen, but its like this we're a banged up old Aston Martin, that's been sitting in the garage for the decades, going cheap to clear someone's shed, its going to take many years and a lot of money to fix it.

The reason people are interested, is that they fancy owning an Aston Martin for 20 quid, even more so if the cost of doing it up can be found in the boot of it.

The things we should be interested in who is willing put investment into the club and the nature of that - equity or debt.

What are there plans to recover the club.

What competency, experience, knowledge and skills they bring to recover the club.

Not quite the right comparison. The Aston Martin has been restored but the person restoring it has done most of the work and then run out of money. The new owner needs to get the respray finished, tart up the interior and then it'll be worth top dollar. That's why there are interested parties.

It's going to be naff whom ever takes control unless they cover the debt.

The biggest issue we've got is any gains from having the new stadium are basically negated for 'n' years as it'll be used to repay the finance.
Exactly this, everyone getting giddy about the Bell, Downing and Dell bid but when you break it down they are just robbing Peter to pay Paul like another Super Bloo chairman.

Yes they would probably pay off all the debts to be consolidated in to one debt with MSD, Dell himself and the family have no interest in Everton football club, just creaming off the 10s of millions in interest repayments each year.

The consortium containing Gulf and American investors is intriguing, they aren`t mulling, they`ve gone straight in with a £400m bid which would indicate they have cash, not spending months to put finance packages together. I would suspect that offer is to Moshiri for the club and his c£450m owners loan, obviously little is known at this point.

I suspect there is groups/bidders in this that nobody knows about, probably the ones that aren`t breifing journalists! Why does any bidder want to brief journo`s? Probably because they want to force the deal through quick and feel there is other threats to them being successful. But I could be wrong....

None of the bidders would give Everton an immediate solution, all of which would turn the debt/finances slowly leaving us languishing midtable for 5 years or more. Unless this Manoukian group do have massive wealth to clear the debts immediately which would provide this club with a massive shot in the arm financially and make the move to BMD a real game changer.

IMO

Are you seriously conflating a notorious Nazi propaganda minister with people involved in buying a football club ?
Distasteful.

Who better to reference as the master of propaganda? I can use that name instead.

Both underachieved in the league as they have under their current ownership.

Yeah -
Always finishing in the top six and two European finals - winning one - what a nightmare.

Thats a simplistic viewpoint imo. He has not invested and they have not moved forward in the league.

Roma should be in the top few clubs in Serie A. They should be in and around finals.

Wouldn't agree with that at all mate.

The club is an absolute skip fire, its in an awful position - worst in its history.

Asset stripped
PSR deductions/concerns
Struggling to remain a goin concern without month to month finance
Tumbled down the league
Holding 600 odd million debt
Crippled by Interest payments

The reason why some people are interested is a PL club for 40 mill, they don't come up at that price often and if you can restructure the debt and keep it on the club (which is why we need to be streetwise), then you have a PL club for around the price of Anthony Gordon.

They’ve won the league once in their history. Compete against teams who are serial winners in Europe. Lost out to Atalanta for a CL spot this season. But yeah - make stuff up to push your point.

Omg its ROMA you think Everton is a bigger global name and branding than them?

Not assed. Unlike you - I’m not talking crap for the sake of it.

Interesting

So someone with a 45% shareholding in one club will invest a large amount in them than prioritise the one where he owns 86.6%+ and isnt investing in.

Sound logic.

Dont accuse me of "talking crap" about something you clearly dont understand as you think youre a "top bloo"
