That was bizarre and the lack of a call for Fellaini right before it was bizarre.

The dude was literally sitting on Fellaini's leg and yet no call.

The ref in general I thought wasn't poor, but in the last 20 minutes he seemed to go on vacation.

That was more of a fume rather than just picking on him. I like Howard and I think he is a good keeper but he's not been at his best lately, I'm not going to come out and say he's shite because he's made one mistake, he makes less than most in the league, he just has one or two weaknesses to his game.

The word after the City win was that he provided the platform so Felli could shine. No Felli masterclass = Gibson is the scapegoat.

He has nowhere near the workrate or defensive qualities of Carsley so you should never compare him to an Everton legend. He gave the ball away a lot and didn't really contribute well to any attacking phases in the game. He was probably our worst performer for the second game in a row. I have nothing against him personally, but in the last two games despite his goal, his all round performances have been below the rest of the team.

I was really pissed off when we had a great chance right at the end and Jelavic fouled their player, it was 93 minutes and what a chance to nick a late winner.

Sorry, but throws aren't really long openers. I really hope we'd get someone decent. Howard does a few nice saves during a season but his overall contribution isn't good enough. I'd like to see how many saves versus goals let in he's done all season. Should make for a horrible reading. He gives the ball away to opposition so he's most likely the cause behind those too. I really don't like him any more, just another piss poor United reject, Phil Neville of the goalkeeping world.

This is the exact knee jerk reaction I dread. It always happens when a player makes a horrible mistake and never happens when they save us.

Howard lost us points today. No question.

But he is still starting between the pipes for me. Let's all remember Mucha's cock up earlier this season shall we? Mistakes happen. And contrary to knee jerk opinion, they haven't happened in a row for Tim. He has also saved our collective behinds this season several times.
