Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian
The Unobstructed View
I personally think 2 is a little high for Damon.
No. 2 is very fitting, if he were a player he'd be a No.2.
All round if anyone is a number 2 it's him.

Harsh. He has nowhere near the workrate or defensive qualities of Carsley so you should never compare him to an Everton legend. He gave the ball away a lot and didn't really contribute well to any attacking phases in the game. He was probably our worst performer for the second game in a row. I have nothing against him personally, but in the last two games despite his goal, his all round performances have been below the rest of the team.
I was really pissed off when we had a great chance right at the end and Jelavic fouled their player, it was 93 minutes and what a chance to nick a late winner.
gibson had 1 misfired shot , what else did he do wrong in his role then ? im sure his tackle win and pass success rate was only bettered by fellaini.
hes not a plyer like pienaar , he sits in teh hole covering ground and space so our wide men can push forward and fellaini is free to boss the pitch. so i cant honestly see what he done wrong. i like him and think we have lacked a mr boring but dependable since carsley.

This is the exact knee jerk reaction I dread. It always happens when a player makes a horrible mistake and never happens when they save us.
Howard lost us points today. No question.
But he is still starting between the pipes for me. Let's all remember Mucha's cock up earlier this season shall we? Mistakes happen. And contrary to knee jerk opinion, they haven't happened in a row for Tim. He has also saved our collective behinds this season several times.
Is it just me that puts their goal down to the bounce ?
Pip gave Tim a Googlie and bamboozled him, he was going in exactly the right place to catch it then when it bounced it turned.

Harsh.
He broke up the play just as much as Felli did today. That's his primary role.
This.
The word after the City win was that he provided the platform so Felli could shine. No Felli masterclass = Gibson is the scapegoat.
No. Just because Mucha is poor it doesn't make Howard any better. Howards only good attribute is his athletism. He doesn't have any other strong areas in his play. There's nothing to disagree with this fact.
