Passed first time no recommendations either - just watch out for birds with diahorea lolUnless the rules have changed without me noticing, a bit of bird crap aint going to make one iota of difference to your MOT test. lol
That post was from last August.I let the dog out into the back garden this morning. A minute or so later I looked through the window and noticed feathers everywhere.
Under the bushes I found a pigeon carcass, intact but minus the head and half plucked. It had obviously been freshly killed.
If it was the victim of a sparrowhawk I would have expected it to be out in the open, but because it was under the bushes and it was also missing it's head I'm guessing the predator was a cat. The dog presumably interupted proceedings.
Saw one this morning catch a pigeon in flight down by the river Brunswick Dock. Eventually dropped it because a number of seagulls started chasing itView attachment 209904View attachment 209905View attachment 209906View attachment 209907View attachment 209908View attachment 209909

A lovely pic that.We live in a McCarthy and Stone retirement apartment and there's a substation in the corner of the owners' car park about 30 yards from our balcony. Ferdy sleeps on the roof most days and I managed to capture this shot of him yawning earlier today.
