The fact that they are still talking is positive it means they are negotiating and both are open to doing a deal.

Leeds will not budge on their demands and in fact would probably move the goalposts even after something had been agreed just to spite us. We should move on imo.

Agree esp if we have agreed a price only way can see them is adding more to the price for a lower upfront fee. They have done the same with summervile that has made teams walk away

Suspect if Spurs didn't sign Gray, then Gnonto would probably already be here.

Leeds have sold a few haven't they - talk was they needed £100m in sales. Their Chairman confirmed they needed to sell a lot.

I'd imagine Summerville or Gnonto is their ticket to compliance.

Won't be about need. Player wants to go and Leeds have a valuation - just like we do for Branthwaite. If Leeds don't budge a bit, someone else will have to pay what they want. Won't be us.

Leeds wanted over 50% of the North of £28m they are asking for Gnonto up-front. Bet they had the same conditions for Summerville. Difference being that I bet West Ham can afford to pay it.
