What if Dyche is going to shock us all and instead of going for another big brute of a CF he’s going to turn Gnonto into a Tevez/Sanchez/Aguero striker?
 
I would much rather us go after Dodi Lukebakio.

Similar negotiation position given Hertha was relegated last season, and the player would be cheaper, has a higher ceiling, has greater athleticism, and most importantly fits a massive glaring need within our squad.

Gnonto is 4 years younger than anyone else in that squad and Retegui is a gamble.

I like him but I don't think he has a higher ceiling at all, especially since he's six years older.

Well yeah if you're not going to pay any attention whatsoever to their positions maybe Gnonto is a better use of 30m than Beto in terms of potential, but it's not how you build a squad and building a squad keeps you in the league.
