And yet they've just loaned us a player.Their issue is selling to us, and selling that to their fans.
It shouldn't matter, but it does (to them).
And yet they've just loaned us a player.
If he signs for us he will be doing it again in a years time
We arnt going downAnd If we went down and he had to be playing in the top flight to get into his country's squad then I wouldn't blame him/I'd expect him to want off.
If we went down I'd have expected the likes of Onana, Pickford etc all to leave.
It's certainly in their best interests to just let him go at this point. Pride could be their downfall here. If they make him stay and he still refuses to play then they're stuck with a player who's value is only going to drop whilst they still pay his wages for nothing..Yeah I think there has to be allowances when you are relegated and have international players who will be heavily affected by it.
It's definitely hurting Leeds on and off the field for this saga to be dragging on.
I know some of Leeds problems are caused by these relegation clauses, but it seems to me Southampton and Leicester have accepted and processed the reality of relegation and Leeds haven’t, and that’s reflected in their starts. And If we went down and he had to be playing in the top flight to get into his country's squad then I wouldn't blame him/I'd expect him to want off.

We’ve got Adams?
True but they could have tried to loan him elsewhere,if Gnonto wants to join us doubt Leeds will try to stop him if we pay what they want (or close enough to it ) They could try to get him sectioned though. They had no choice. Contract release clause.
Haha I never knew he was in our youth teamHe used to play centre mid or left wing for us,
He's always said he'd come back if we offered but keep telling him he simply isn't good enough
He's really close to him so rates him, has always said his feet are so quick, he's strong for his size an loves to kick off we seen that last season
Joffy going to watch the rs later, so probably meet him in the snooker hall after, an more info will post
Probably not helped though mate by Saints just selling two 20yr olds for a total of about £85m...I know some of Leeds problems are caused by these relegation clauses, but it seems to me Southampton and Leicester have accepted and processed the reality of relegation and Leeds haven’t, and that’s reflected in their starts.
Your better players and brighter prospects are going to want to move on for their careers, that just goes with the territory. You take the money, and use it for a sensible rebuild, you don’t try to cling on, it does you no good. Burnley did it last season and it launched them towards comfortable promotion and now Leicester and Southampton are doing it far better than Leeds, who are only hurting their own chances.
They can't. If the player wants to go that's the end of it.True but they could have tried to loan him elsewhere,if Gnonto wants to join us doubt Leeds will try to stop him if we pay what they want (or close enough to it ) They could try to get him sectioned though.
