What a player Richarlison is. In every preseason game you could see how much more quality he has than the players around him. Thought Baines was very good, Coleman as well. Gana played his role really well and he was very important today. Hurts to give up that second goal but all things considered it was a good performance. Never a red card AND the free kick was taken five yards closer than it should have been.

in jags defence ..... the last time I saw a player let the ball slip like that it was some useless git in red and it cost them the premiership .
it happens and is unfortunate but he dont need crucifying for it. I bet he is more mad with himself than we are.

We defintely deserve credit. I did say we look more balanced and organised. But result aside, did they ever look like winning?

It was definitely the manager's fault. He should have changed formation to take advantage of the extra man. He didn't, so they struggled to cut through,v even with the man advantage. It's not like we sat back and were defending like our lives depended on it. If Santo isn't more flexible, then they will struggle.
 
Never ever comfortable with that defence. Attack was good aside from needing to get more balls into the box for Tosun. All in all with the new signings in the team we are going to be good!

It was an awful first touch, but a textbook recovery. Why we don't have VAR is beyond comprehension. Although, I heard that joke of a ref Peter Walton claim it was the correct deciosion as he "lunged". Not sure how you slide tackle without lunging?

You never liked like scoring against what is probably out worst backline in the PL era. If you don't become more clinical, especially against teen men, you could easily go straight back down.
