What has he got on the Spanish FA that they are threatning to withdraw their teams from UEFA if he's removed as president. Lets hope the big clubs show their power here.

Absolutely disgraceful.

If he had showed the slightest bit of contrition after the event this could have been a positive and even cathartic conclusion that led to female footballers being treated as players first and led to healthy discussions within everyday work places on how our treatment of others manifests itself and how it makes them feel. All he had to do was say sorry, I was wrong and I want to listen to the players and people upset by my actions and realise why I was wrong. His behaviour post the event is at best misguided and at worst a disgrace, that has led to a conflict that will empower and entrench the straight white male victimhood fallacy, and no doubt lead to female footballers being abused and attacked on social media.

I wish him a long career of honest self-reflection.

It is interesting how something like this can be trending as the top news story in this country. The geezer screwed up and compounded it by not taking ownership in the fall out but he is getting more stick than Lucy Letby did

The guy's mother is now on hunger strike 🤣

How more ridiculous can this thing get.

In a more sane world the guy would have apologised immediately, the women would have accepted his apology and no one would have bated an eye lid.
You forgot to mention she has also locked herself in a church as well as going on a hunger strike, the nasty public are being beastly to her son :)

She should have just kneed him in the nuts......
but then she might've been charged for a sexually violent assualt cos she never had consent.

Indeed.

Maybe he genuinely got caught up in the emotion of the occasion and did something stupid and unwelcome/inappropriate.

Maybe it belies a deeper sense of entitlement and attitude towards women.

Maybe it's a combination of both.

But claiming it was consensual and failing to publicly acknowledge why grabbing a woman and kissing her is problematic, particularly as a man in a position of power, is as much a problem as the initial act.

Haha No mate. Google is your friend.
At a glance pretty much most sport Spanish(insert other nations here..) participated had and still is awash with some form of doping.
Oh I know what Puerto is and that a number of Spanish clubs were implicated before it was all brushed under the carpet. I just wasn't sure if this guy had anything to do with that hushing.
