It’s been a disaster full stop, but to come out with comments like this? Well, it works doesn’t it? All you have to do is watch the Netflix documentary to see the Loyalty Africa and Caribbean had for Blatter.

You bad bad hairest you. Can't you see this is a broken man, that taunting stopped him having a full and successful life. All he ever dreamed of was being a gay, disabled, migrant worker, perhaps part of a groundworks team, doing back breaking digging for 10 francs an hour. Now all he does is go from one soiree to another, just an endless sea of salmon and cream cheese and quaffing champagne. All for a measly one million pounds a year.

I dont think he was justifying it at all, he was putting in the context of western hypocrisy. And in that, he's right.

The western media will walk away from Qatar on December 19th and forget about it forever.
 
Maybe the western media should picket the BBC and ITV for covering the games...oh no, that's right, THEY'RE THE WESTERN MEDIA OUTLETS COVERING THEM.
