Worst act you ever saw live

Haven’t seen him live, but I know a lot of stone roses/Ian brown fans aren’t too happy about brown’s latest tour. He’s touring with no band, singing over a backing track. Full on Karaoke. I’ve seen some footage on YouTube and it’s horrific. Justin Hawkins does a great review of it on his YouTube channel.

I’m lucky in that I can’t remember leaving a gig thinking, ‘well that was crap’.

Mercury Rev were always a bit of an enigma back when they were fronted by David Baker. The first time I saw them, they were an absolute shambles. The other time they were absolutely mindblowing, one of the best things I've ever seen.

Pink Floyd.
1969 or 70 at the old Stadium.
It was Friday night and we were there to rock and roll, they were there trialing darkside of the moon 'new stuff' not the acid rock stuff.
They played 1 and a half songs, stopped, said this isn't working is it...which it wasn't and walked off.
After a brief hiatus the then resident band at the Cavern The Klubs came back on and tore it down.

I've only ever walked out of one gig - that was Gong (Krazy House 1992 according to setlist.fm). There were weirdos everywhere, passed out on the floor and sprawled all over the place and then when Daevid Allen started pretending to be a tree we just said 'that's it, let's do one'.

Seen The Stone Roses a few times - that first album was incredible, but they were awful live. Mark II Stone Roses played the Royal Court in 1995, that was particularly bad.

I thought I was the only one who'd heard of the Klubs. :) They did a few very decent songs, my favourite :

Red Hot Chill Peppers, as others have said. They messed about for half of it and didn't seem terribly concerned with putting on a good show. Their encore was then 3 songs from their first 2 albums, which virtually nobody knew apart from about 10 fellas right at the front.

Went to a filming of the pub landlord they tried to stop me leaving. Was about 3 hours long, Jason Donavon was a guest. It was boiling at utter garbage. I left in the end they weren't happy.

Also went to see that little bald headed guy with glasses who wears clothes with big collars. Was in the pub by the interval. He did a TV show I think reviewing TV programmes he was terrible
Harry hill, that's it. Absolute cabbage
