Most people are saying £15-18m, which I'd say is fair. They won't accept it as he's a key player, or would want more than that, again justifiable.

I think it's safe to say he won't be bidding 15 million for Earl Barrett mate, he is 46 after all. There's nothing wrong with having faith in a managers judge of player though. Let's face it, most of us thought we overpaid for McCarthy but Roberto obviously knew what he was doing.

what's he done to show he can be a top player?....and I'd worry about his ability to stay injury free (think is another rodwell)....
he's only at United because he came through their youth system (one that hasn't exactly produced much in 20 years since giggs/Scholes/Beckham etc)...
with Van persie out injured alot this season, and Hernandez doing nothing, this season was a great opportunity for welbeck to impress....he didn't!....
if west ham have any money left for Sam to waste, then that's welbecks level for me.....
