Anichebe is good enough to fill in.
Yea suppose, but we cant expect him to run his socks off on his own now till next March.

we can expect him to run them off 'til may, in fact we demand that he runs the bastards off, if you cant do that at his age then pack it in and go to college

If only. His ability to score against weaker Uefa sides only implies he might have a career ahead of him in the championship. If he was going to do make it in the premiership he'd have shown greater ability in front of goal by now.
I've said before that he lacks the poacher instinct and might be better off using his physical presence and holding skills further back in say a DM role.
Emile Heskey isn't a goalscorer, he cops fine in the Premier League. Lots of other players aswell who aren't poachers but contribute in other areas.
His hold up play has improved dramatically as has his touch. He's only 20 years old and has alot of time to improve. I'm sure he could fill in if he's given enough support by the midfielders.
He doesn,t score much now but that wasn't always the case.
154 games for Leicester up to age 22 - scored 40
So a goal every four games - same as he achieved at Liverpool over the next four years.
I think if Vic was going to manage that sort of average we'd have seen more evidence by now. I agree he's still young has room to improve but I still thing he'd be better advised developing other areas of his game and dropping back down the park.
