Seems like this weekend (before 1 July) is crunch time for a lot of teams in terms of them about to exit the financial period potentially having violated PSR rules. I guess that's why we are quickly wrapping up the Godfrey deal, switched to Castore on better terms, and won't be finalising the Ndiaye deal until next week. Plus the fact we haven't related in Branthwaite makes it clear we are no longer in danger of further punishment.

I'm not sure that concluding the Ndiaye deal prior to the end of the month will have that much difference upon the accounts due to amortization.

However if we are close to PSR there is no point taking a chance and in any event it makes the optics look better when considering compliance.

Got to think that Newcastle will come back in for DCL with a reasonable offer just below our asking price that we’ll end up taking, remains to be seen if they’re as reasonable with Minteh though. Really does feel like there’s a deal to be done here though.
