Transfer Rumour Yankuba Minteh

Players have a right to do what they consider best for them. It is their job. Their livelihood. The idea they owe clubs something when clubs will sell them at the drop of a hat if it suits them is us fans thinking with our hearts not our heads.

As for blaming Friedkin, that is stupid. He is not the owner and he is not involved in any of these decisions. Even if he was he cannot magic PSR constraints away in a couple of days.

A week ago I would say that practically no one on this forum had any knowledge of Minteh or had even seen him play.

Now , we are supposedly missing out because we can't/won't pay 33m for a player that cost 6m twelve months ago and did well in the Dutch league for one season.

I know someone will say that Branthwaite did well in Holland but what has that got to do with anything, unless the argument is that you can make a player great simply by sending him to Holland.

Minteh may be wonderful, he may be average, as he has no premiership experience there is no real form to look at. But, that is a huge fee to pay for a young lad and it isn't even a PSR fee.

Brighton do seem to be a well run club but last year they won the same number of points as we did and we are hardly content with our season.
They have also lost their manager and appointed a 31year old with minimal experience.

He's a troll. He doesn't believe any of the "tings" he says. He just does it for the lols and the middle finger emojis.

We were backed by a man with a personal fortune of over £14bn.

Yet you believe Everton could not spend money because Graeme Sharp was on the board, rather than PSR rules designed to stop clubs outside the "big 6" from competing.

If anyone is trolling, its yourself & the others who appear to appease Richard Masters & Sir Jim.

If Everton had no restraints, they match Brightons bid and this boy signs for us. And before you attempt to play your trump card, remember that "well run" clubs like Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also in the same 30th June position as us.
