We were backed by a man with a personal fortune of over £14bn.

Yet you believe Everton could not spend money because Graeme Sharp was on the board, rather than PSR rules designed to stop clubs outside the "big 6" from competing.

If anyone is trolling, its yourself & the others who appear to appease Richard Masters & Sir Jim.

If Everton had no restraints, they match Brightons bid and this boy signs for us. And before you attempt to play your trump card, remember that "well run" clubs like Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also in the same 30th June position as us.
We didn’t want him

Let’s get it right shall we, DCL regardless of what you think of him is entitled to go after whatever salary he wants. It’s Everton that’s done this through years of financial mismanagement causing us to be in this PSR tight spot that we can’t sign any more players this side of 01/07. It will be interesting however if BHA don’t sign him tomorrow and whether we are then back in the game come Monday…who knows. Personally I don’t even know if the guy is any good.

Some work by Newcastle like. Bought him for about £6m a year ago, never played him, sent him on loan, sold for a fraction under £35m.

It's like the anti-Everton way of doing business.

Devastated. Utterly devastated. Inconsolable. Pure depression.

Dunno what he was like as a player but we could have busted out 'feed the yank and he will score' like we were back in '08.

Shame.

Bed wetting this early in a window due to the new twist of an effective PSR deadline is not an improvement to this fan’s football experience. Thankfully matty is the voice of reason (providing it is not directions) 😉

Serious question. If as you say you're not a troll, then why the 180 on DBB, going from being totally against her at the beginning to being her strongest ally. At the same time she was evolving to become one of the worst CEO in football.
