TBF you could make that accusation against probably 95% of players in the premiership. Not all of them cost £25m+ I grant you.
Wingers are notoriously inconsistent and Bolasie is no different, in fact I think he epitomises the rule. He either gets you off your seat or stinks the place out it seems. If he does what you want and impact every game for 90 mins plus add more goals, we'd have some player on our hands. Not going to happen though sadly.
I'd be happy with a few more goals from him to take some of the pressure off Rom. Overall I'm happy with his assists so far, which could have been even more with better finishing.
He been great, hes a fantastic outlet and the most impressive thing for me where his assists Vs City and yesterday, his desire work ethic and vision. Watch those two assists again they are fantastic, they have won us two games.

Only fair after knocking him at times that I acknowledge the lad is currently having a positive impact in matches.
I'd still like to see more consistent performances, rather than an assist one minute and then dribbling the ball out of play the next, but if he keeps notching up the assists and scoring a few goals then he'll go some way to justifying the fee we paid.

I'm fairly sure I will grow to like the lad a lot. I'm just still coming to terms with the fact he goes from the sublime to the ridiculous sometimes within seconds. I'm hopeful Ronald is gonna cut out a lot of his unbelievably stupid errors and if he does, then we have a serious player. Until then I'm probably gonna have a brief meltdown over him every week lol
IMO the price is everything with Bolasie.
If he had came in for say £10 million in today's crazy prices market, I would say he was a very good additional option to have in the squad.
But with that kind of price tag comes a level of expectation that quite frankly Bolasie will never come close to justifying, in my opinion.

The worst thing is, however, that he is almost the first name on the team sheet, due entirely to the price tag.
He needs to be left on the bench at times, the same as our other wide men and be coming on as sub in some games.
Then I think the fanbase would be more understanding of the in and out nature of his game.
That said, the lad seems to fit in very well at the club.
He seems to have a very sunny disposition and has quickly become a fan's favourite
I thought it was brilliant. The goal was totally down to him being quick mentally and physically, very few players would have done what he did.
The relationship he is developing with Lukaku will bring more goals. The better he gets for us then he provides a great outlet for our mid-field. He is looking good, maybe not £25 mill just yet.
