Yannick Bolasie

I thought he was poor yesterday but what I did like about him was that he kept trying until the end. I'd much rather have him in the side over Mirallas at the moment who contributes "absolutely nothing" which is a popular phrase on here for another player we have.

He was frustrating as hell yesterday. Extremely wasteful in the second half and should have scored just before half time.

Nobody is disputing that.

But, even playing badly, when he got involved in our play, stuff happened. He created our two best chances (bar the goal), that should have resulted in two goals.

As a % how much of his time on the pitch has he been awful or below average.

I'd generously say 90%.

And you're wrong.

Guess whose cross it was that led to Seamus's goal yesterday Zat...

the ones criticising Bolasie are a lost cause mate. give up on them. Bolasie was better than Lukaku was yesterday. He almost scored a winner too but the keeper and defender blocked it and he was absolutely knackered when he tried to win us the game with a volley outside the box, but some are even criticising him for that! If Fellaini was worth £15m to us and did nothing but elbow people then why is Bolasie not worth the £23m plus potential add-ons we paid for him? I hope he and Deulofeu start the next game. Gerard put some nice crosses in from the right when he came on yesterday and Bolasie is dangerous when he cuts in.

Barkley created his chance himself let's be honest. Bolasie just happened to be the bloke who gave him the ball, there's a difference.

It's just all opinions mate. To my eyes he does numerous very bad things for every good thing he does. He's not very good imo. Yesterday I thought he was abysmal with his crossing. Like I mean rank bad. Although I accept he has been slightly better than Mirallas and Deleuofeu this year. Not that that it is particularly impressive

Eh?

He lumped the Ball into the box toward no one in particular.

You or me could have done that

It was a bad, unchallenged headed clearance from a simple cross by the defender which set the chance up, Toff.

That's why their manager was livid about it.

It was a great piece of improvisation from Seamus which rescued the point, though.

And that in itself was very ironic as Seamus missed an absolute sitter from right under the bar when presented with a chance to save a point in the corresponding fixture last season.

one of his crosses landed straight to Lukaku in the second-half and it was brilliant from so far away! Coleman and Gana's crosses also did not make their mark but nobody is complaining about those? witch-hunt because he can play better football than most fans can, because he's 27 and because of his fee, and because we signed him from Palace and not Real Madrid.

There is no doubt we paid over the odds for Bolasie, he looked like your text book panic buy. We have him now and there isn't anything that can be done. Personally I feel we are better with him than without him given the players we have at our disposal. If I had the £25 million or whatever we paid for him I wouldn't buy him but as I say he is an Everton player and he is far from the worst we have.

Bleach by the gallon

Utter aids of a player, like Kone bad.

Abysmal player.

martins Indi followed by Bolasie, basically Moyes level signings

Nowhere near good enough

Bolasie ?

*Feel sick

If we sign bolasie I'm donning black sackcloth and going to live in a secluded cave somewhere

Would be actually worse than signing nobody.

smacks of desperation if bolasie signs

Nowhere near good enough. 5 goals in 79 league appearances

Please no.

Lennon's better

No your not wrong he is crap.

These lads knew the score with this utter carthorse.

Totally agree that we paid well over the odds for him and also agree that the £25 million could and perhaps should have been spent more wisely.

He does seem to have a decent work ethic, the thing that concerns me is he, never mind the rest of the team, doesn't seem to have any real idea of how what he tries to do will turn out.

His crossing is largely disappointing and his shooting is not far short of laughable.

As we've said with others, the player himself is not responsible for the fee paid, so it is up to the coaching staff to get the best out of him and find a way for him to be effective within the team selected.

All the players were crap yesterday but he was very close to the bottom of the pile yesterday. Utter useless sometimes. Another inconsistent player we have brought in when you would have thought we already had enough!
