4 assists - all to Rom.

1 goal - assisted by Rom.

Set up countless chances for Rom (and others).

And he hasn't played with any consistency.

One assist was a cross that Lukaku maybe got a toe on. His goal was standing next to Rom and pushing him out the way.

We're not talking eye of a needle through balls or nicely worked moves that Barkley and Del were sticking on a plate for him last season when he was on fire.

Hes not getting the "best" out of Rom. Hes punting crosses in and the 2 out of the 10 he puts in that are any good, Rom gets on the end of

I think Tubey even said, if you gave Lennon or Del a run out and made them the focus they'd deliver the same results

Totally agree, we do not play to Lukakus strengths, but we cant always face teams who play a high line and any manager that played a high line against Lukaku is a manger that will surely be sacked. When teams park the bus thats when Lukaku needs to adapt his game and hes found wanting, its about the runs across the line, making space, holding the ball up, something he never does, hes not a clever player, he relies on pace and power. He needs support behind him.

One of the things I've noticed is that even if he loses the ball in his feet when dribbling he somehow still manages to beat the player and rob it back solely through continuing to physically push past the player. You think he's lost the ball and then he comes out with it back at his feet, don't know if it is luck or he's just really good at protecting the ball with his body.

Wish he would look up before he crosses more, some of them are really good but he has a bit of a tendency to overhit them.

Lennon and Del have been crap when played this season.

We need a new player to come in and be the playmaker.

None of the players we currently have have that capability.

It's pace and power.

None of our other wingers have it and Barkley and Rom - who do have it - don't use it often enough.

In terms of money spent, resale value and performances I think he'll probably go down as one of our worst ever signings.

What we're seeing now is exactly what we'll be getting for the next 3 seasons. If we'd paid £10m then fair enough but to have spent as much on him as we have was just ridiculous. If we'd played Lennon, Del or Mirallas in each game keeping him on the bench it wouldn't have made a bit of difference.

He will never learn that aspect of the game. I honestly can't wait till we offload him and win the league

Why worry about how much he costs? I dont get why fans get so upset about it, its not like its their money.

I get where you're coming from but when you pay the money we have then you need to be getting someone who's absolute quality.

Andrew Carroll signed for Liverpool nearly 6 years ago for £35 million.

Since then prices have carried on getting more and more inflated.

People whinged when we haven't spent money and now whinge that we have.

Is the £25mil we paid for Bolasie too much? Yes, definitely.

In the modern market, is it about par - arguably so.

You can, obviously, still pick up value. But now a player who scores 10 goals a season at PL level will cost you £30mil (see Deeney, Troy).

It is what it is.

It is a sobering thought that in the last two transfer windows we have paid almost £40 million for Bolasie and Oumar :(
