Half decent value though mateIf he would have cost a quid, would still say he is not very good

I did read it. You say it as if it's fact when it's just your opinion. Perhaps 'all of our play' has gone through him because he's a lot better than the other options.
Can you honestly say Mirallas looked better last year than Bolasie does this year? Maybe it's not a coincidence that the current manager and the last one don't rate him.
You didn't answer my other points by the way.
I thought Deulofeu looked more dangerous this time last year, his crossing in particular was spectacular, Give Him the game time Bolasie is getting and see who is the better provider and scorer, I know who my money would be on.
Absolutely. Bolasie is now at his level and won't improve, given this is now the same player we've seen for years at different clubs now; Deulofeu is the same level in my view and could be much better, if he improved his stamina.
You only improve that with a run of games. If Bolasie was blowing me away with his performances, then fine, it wouldn't be a discussion. But he simply isn't, so why bother? At the very least, drop him when he's been as bad as he has been lately to give him a boot up the arse - how did he last 90 minutes in the last game when he stunk the place out?
He's bad because of others, not because he's playing bad ???
lol lol
Can't justify dropping our most expensive signing, that's how it seems anyway. He's actually terrible, worse than I thought. Why did he always turn up against us and look dynamite. He's worse than inconsistent, he's mainly bad with the odd glimpse of magic.
Del is 22 and has almost more career assists in the top flight than Bolasie.

Bolasie can do nothing worthwhile all match and then pop-up with an assist. In fact, he has been doing that an awful lot. Four assists and a goal in ten matches isn't exactly outstanding but it is good. It is very good when compared against the rest of our squad right now.
He deserves his place in the team, along with Williams and Gueye. Everyone else can get to you know what.
So we are writing a player off after ten games?
Not so much writing him off after a mere ten games, Papa.
Bolasie was a known quantity when we bought him.
He has been around the EPL for years and played exactly the same way we have seen him play during those years.
That is why there was a collective "you wha?" On here when it was learned we were buying him and at such an over the top price.
(that said, the bugger ripped us a new one at Goodison a couple of times in recent years )
Now, if he was a young player or one making the step up from a lower league or a foreign player coming in and needing time to acclimatise, I would very much echo your sentiments and ask those writing him off to have patience.
But this guy is 27 or 28 and has been around for ages......what we are seeing is pretty much all that is in his locker.
There seems little scope for improvement IMO.
That's too easy though. Too simplistic.
There was uproar when Gueye signed because of what he did at Villa (though I think a lot didn't actually watch him there...).
