If we actually played quick flowing football then Bolasie would be able to put performances such as Sunderland in on a more regular basis. The fact that we play 2 or 3 passes more than we need to, slow the game down, hampers his game.

Go back to the Villa side of 6 or so years ago. Young, Agbonlahor etc. It was built on pace, and they were devastating on the counter because of the sheer speed in the side. Bolasie would have flourished in that side

He just stinks of lower league to me mate, it's like when Beckford signed. Grates on me.

We was promised quality and we end up with a winger who's scored a whopping 38 goals in 10 WHOLE YEARS (including 7 goals IN 3 YEARS for the mighty Congo) and the vast majority of that was in the lower leagues. Bear this in mind... Niasse has scored 129 in the same amount of time.

You'll have to forgive me if i'm not overjoyed at his arrival, and especially not for the figures bandied about. Certainly not bothered he got injured.

We were and again desperate for pace with physical presenceand he can half cross a ball mid run. He came into us on the back of another bumper TV deal pay, so the transfer fee, is what it is. Beckford comparison is square pegs and round holes. His nationality is meh. His lower league journey means nothing in Evertons history of players both past and present.

1. No we weren't. We need a number 10. We had a player who can put the ball on a sixpence and we stuck him on the bench, bought this lumbering oaf and try and play everything through him, when he clearly hasn't get the skill to do it.

2. I disagree. Gundogan went to Man City for £20m, Mkhitaryan went to United for £26m? and we spend roundabout that on him. So no. The transfer fee isn't what it is, we was robbed.

3. The Beckford comparison is exactly that. He got found out playing Premier League football, Bolasie is a good signing for a bottom half premier league side. That's not our aspiration, we want Europe. He simply isn't good enough, never has been and never will be.

4. His goalscoring record for both club and country is garbage.

5. His lower league journey is exactly that. He's spent the vast majority of his career playing lower league football, against lower league opposition, being coached by lower league coaches. And someone at Everton thought it would be a good idea to spend up to £30m on him? Christ.

Head down and run as fast as you can, then hit it into an area and hope. That's Bolasie. I expect more from our players, the fact he's managed 4 assists is irrelevant because literally everything is going through him for some ridiculous reason, 1 dimensional, no plan B, lazy tactics.

Koeman needs to sort it out because the give it to the quick winger to lump in died with Ashley Young and John Carew.

Bolasie has more football skills than most people on this board will ever have, and they're jealous of his skill and his rags to riches story, if not worse.

I know its all about opinions, but have you spent your whole life pretending to be knowledgeable about football, when in fact you're not? Bolasie is what Koeman needed, and he has already proved that to be right. He is part of a project which is still in its infancy. He is a winger that works hard and 'does his share for the team, something we have not had for some time, although we have had 'skillful' wingers, but without the strength or commitment of Bolassie...something Koeman recognised.. and I remember that Beckford had a successful season at Everton, before Moyes moved him on for what were probably 'off the field' reasons. A couple of others who spent long careers in the lower leagues but became quite successful....Ian Wright, Jamie Vardy, and there are many more. With better service and good coaching Bolasie could be very very good for Everton,if he gets over his injury.

Have you spent your whole life assuming you know people? I could pretty much guarantee I've played football at a higher level than you have.

It was widely regarded we needed a goalkeeper, a number 10, a centre half and back up for Lukaku, correct? Yes.

And better service and coaching?? He's the one supposed to be giving the service and he's appalling at it. As for the coaching, he's 27 now, supposedly in his prime, with the next half of the season sitting on the medical table so he'd better get a move on with his improving hadn't he. Oh and his injury is going to do a pacy player the world of good isn't it.

I usually enjoy your posts, didn't think personal jibes was your thing.
