He just stinks of lower league to me mate, it's like when Beckford signed. Grates on me.

We was promised quality and we end up with a winger who's scored a whopping 38 goals in 10 WHOLE YEARS (including 7 goals IN 3 YEARS for the mighty Congo) and the vast majority of that was in the lower leagues. Bear this in mind... Niasse has scored 129 in the same amount of time.

You'll have to forgive me if i'm not overjoyed at his arrival, and especially not for the figures bandied about. Certainly not bothered he got injured.

Yeah, he's 'kin awful mate and I wholeheartedly agree with you. One of the most underwhelming signings in our history, for me. Abysmal.

But I can't accept that argument about the price tag. If Del or Lennon, for example, had come in and played brilliantly, but then been taken out for Bolasie, then by all means, there may be something in it.

The fact is that they haven't. They've been dreadful.

I just can't get my head around this thing of 'Oh, Deulofeu, Lennon and Mirallas are the answer. Not Bolasie' - these are the same players that have failed us miserably for the last 18 months, but seemingly are much better than a player who has been here four and has had an impact already?

I understand not everybody thinks that way, and that's fine. But when I see a reasonable, passionate fan such as yourself use the 'playing because of the price-tag' theory, then I find it hard not to bite back - it's ridiculous, IMO.

You have put forward plenty of better arguments as to why you don't think Bolasie should be first choice :) but I think that one is scraping the barrel.

That's the thing mate, Deulofeu was playing brilliantly for the first half of last season (before he was dropped) playing in a system which suited him, he hasn't played well when called upon this season because the system is set up to cater for Bolasie - who also hasn't played very well.

I'm just massively unconvinced by him - I can see right through all the clumsy looking flicks & tricks he does and see him for the bang average speed merchant he is.
 

List of Everton first teamers he's been better than this season: Jags, Barkley, Mirallas, Deulofeu, Valencia, Baines, Oviedo, Lennon, Cleverly.

Yet, it's Yannick who gets more stick from the fans than almost all of them. Target your hate better people. Just because you didn't like the signing and he's a bit unorthodox doesn't mean he hasn't been decent this season.

Barkley - Granted, out of form, we know what he's capable of, just needs to get his head in gear.

Is 'a bit unorthodox' American for crap? He hasn't been anything more than decent for any team he's played for, for any stretch of time, hence why it's us that got lumbered with him - and bummed to the tune of 'allegedly' £30m with add-ons (not that we need to worry about performance related add-ons with him).

Now whilst I'm fairly new to this moderation responsibility, I may make the odd snap judgement from time to time.

However, in light of the posts just this very day, you have called one of our most respected members a liar, then told him to stop over-reacting and largely ignored his suggestions to wind your neck in and stop being a nuisance.
