He is one of the most skilful players in the league, we need players in their peak. He a left winger which is what we need

He just lacks consistent which is where Koeman will come in

alot of weird moaning on here. What, were we expecting world class wingers after stinking out the premiership for the last two years? i remember Bolasie destroyed us at Goodison in our good season and we were linked with him a few weeks later, and I remember thinking, we'll never get near him. This is a good player, and as somebody else has said, may be being bought as the foil for Rom up front, which could really work

Cabaye wasn't playing it in to a 1 in 2 striker though was he?

Look, if we're paying £20m for Bolaise it's probably alright (@Sharpys top lip thinks that's more likely). Seems a bit pointless but oh well. If it's £30m it's a tragic waste of money on a player that, frankly, isn't that good and is hardly being cried out the door by their fans (unlike Williams and, strangely, that Kone from Sunderland).
 


I think he'll improve us. Means we've got four wingers now - two for the right, two for the left.

Good options, especially with no Europe to distract us, so fitness should never be an excuse this season.

If we get him, along with Williams and Kone, i'll be quite happy with our transfer business so far. Another striker and a first choice keeper and i'll think we have a good squad that, set up by a manager who knows what defending is, could really have a good dig at the the top six and the cups.

For a first season with a new manager, I think that would be a fair return.

He's crap the other 34 games a season (played well v Liverpool, too). Wish people would stop bringing up that he was decent against us. Did you watch us at all the past 2 years? It's no great achievement.
