Player Valuation: £40m
Out for a year and some on here expect him to be 100 per cent already. They must never have played ball themselves. Will take a month or 2.

I was with until you said "played ball'Out for a year and some on here expect him to be 100 per cent already. They must never have played ball themselves. Will take a month or 2.
Do you reckon he can come back to what he was? I’m hopeful but I do have a bit of doubt.Out for a year and some on here expect him to be 100 per cent already. They must never have played ball themselves. Will take a month or 2.
I hope you are right sure. I hope you are rightLook at the way Sigurdsson improved after game time and getting back to fitness. With a lad who was smashing them in the Champions League for fun signed, a resurgent Rooney, a healthier Bolasie, potentially an actual left back, Idrissa Gueye returning after his hamstring and finally the actual state of our final 16 games
We are going to have a VERY good end of season run
Atm my favourite player. Wonderful personI love me some Yala, guy even though he isn't 100% is still busting his ass. I loved the expression he was having yesterday at that corner.
From my reckoning, 17 of them were in the lower leagues (and the mighty Maltese Premier League) - leaving 15, 3 of which were scored in 1 game against Sunderland, leaving 12 goals in his entire Premier League career. Finding his assists statistics was tricky as lower leagues are't really recorded, but from my reckoning it's 40 assists in total. In 10 years. But hey, he can roll his studs over the ball and run fast.
Brilliant.
Hitting crosses is a good idea, but hitting them TO someone is even better. I always thought basic coaching at an early level told you if theres no one to cross it to, dont, and if there is, hit them with it. I mean taking people on and hitting crosses is something, but lets also not pretend that its somehow satisfactory and/or good for results to just randomly wack crosses into defenders.
At some point, from some players, somewhere on the pitch, we need a finished product, not just random attempts.
But they are the only facts that matter though mate - he's not even remotely good enough for Everton, hes a lower league journeyman that has got a lucky break joining us.
And whoever said Lukaku was crap and hindered us was wrong obviously, as he - unlike Bolasie, had a final product.
What does it matter if it finds the box if there's nobody there?! if he picked his head up and had a look LIKE A PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLER then he'd see that and make a judgement not to just lump it anyway.
As for the creative player bit, literally everything siphoned through him, so its obvious that's what he was. The fact that we were terrible till he got injured compounds how bad he actually was.
Edit: Most of the crosses were to the middle of nowhere or out of touch. As usual.
Even better than bang average? which is less than what his entire career numbers are? 1 in 10 for an out and out attacking winger, with the entirety of play going through him? with his assists being just as poor.
Sorry mate he's awful. A dreadful signing. Nice bloke, awful footballer.
He has come back exactly the same player as he left.
We all (most of us) bemoaned his lack of quality crossing, his messing around with the ball instead of playing it simple, stupid backheels and flicks that make him look an idiot when they don't come off.
It's not a YouTube showreel he's playing in, its a game of football, the only thing that matters is the scoreline at the end of it. He isn't creative, he doesn't assist, he doesn't score goals, and he's terrible defensively. I'm struggling to see why he should play.
That's just it mate, he isn't. There's nothing creative about giving the ball straight back to the opposition every time.
I've seen plenty of Bolasie to form the opinion that he's crap. I've been saying it for years, well before he came to us - as did plenty of people at the beginning of this thread, look at the responses to his signing when we were linked and you'll see what most Evertonians thought to it - the fee just compounds it.
As For Cenk Tosun, not seen him play so I don't have an opinion. From the snippets on YouTube he looks like he can finish.
I've always looked at it this way with Bolaise, when it looked like Zaha could be on his way to Spurs the Palace fans were fuming and frothing at the mouth at the thought, with Bolaise, they weren't really arsed at the thought of him going.
See i see what you're saying, but getting past your man is irrelevant if you're going to do absolutely nothing with it afterwards, so makes getting past him pointless.
What was his assist ratio? 1 in 4?, 4 assists in 16 games, that would make 9/10 for the season?, with a £75m striker in front of him - what's it going to be with DCL and Niasse to aimlessly good it towards? I'd say 9/10 assists for a winger, with everything going through him with a £75m forward playing in front of him is pretty average myself.
I thought he was awful.
He needs to look up now and again.
Because he offers nothing apart from snippets to make good YouTube videos?
No goals or assists ever but he can roll his studs over the ball dead good.
Kenny had to put a double shift in Bolasie tracking back is none existent
He really is a player for the YOUTUBE generation, isn't he.
You could make a great thirty second video of his best good touches tonight.
In between times he offers next to nowt.
And this ain't owt to do with him coming back from injury and being rusty.
This is exactly how I remember him playing before he was hurt.
Can do tricks and flicks
Struggles to play football
Robertson had him in his back pocket all game. Had a poor game, don't know what some of you where seeing.
Has no brain. Runs around gormlessly. Holds the ball too long 90% of the time.
Dreadful player. Cant even put any of it down to his fitness as he was exactly the same pre-injury.
Mate you obviously watch a different Bolasie to me.
Name 1 point in the entire 90 minutes where he got past his man and found his target, or laid it off, or had a shot on target. You can't. Because none happened.
Mk
He’s garbage, my stance will not change. He’s sound if you’ve got acres of space to bang it in to and he leg after it.
It also gives defenders time to get back.
It's literally the only thing he does, roll his studs over it, kick it past his man and try to outrun him on the outside. Every time... Any defender with a modicum of talent has him sussed.
Not really an Everton player for me tbh.
We must do.
He's quite clearly one of the best attacking players we have at the club currently and has just returned after 13 months out. Did exceptionally well to last the 90 minutes tonight, exceeding my expectations currently despite his lack of fitness.
Bit like Cuco Martina, some people just like to bag on him for the sake of it 90% of the time...
Bolasie is ace, was one of our better players before he got injured, will take a few more games to get up to speed but the early signs from the games he has played over the last few weeks are good.He is literally Aiden McGeady. As he's bigger, faster and seems like a cool nice guy who says 'fam' people seem to think he's good.
The guys end product is non-existent. Of any player in midfield or attack you would want making a key pass or having a shot he's be the last person on the list....absolute donkey of a player.
I wish we just sold him...anywhere...to anyone...so I don't have to see his name on the back of one of our shirts again.
So many were hailing McGeady in the same way when we signed him....its actually just bewildering.
Do people not watch Bolasie/McGeady live? Just on youtube or highlights???
Imagine playing Cuco and Bolasie on the left side.
Just lol seriously you fans of Bolasie should form a clique.
Virtually first minute...skinned the full back and got his cross in. For the goal, beat Lallana and set up counter attack. Beat full back lots of times and crossed. Near the end, ok wrong decision on the shot, but still heavily involved. Close to our best player if Jags had not been so immense.
I suspect you have an agenda.
No agenda, I just don't see what you see.
I see mishit, overhit crosses, showing off for the sake of showing off and a complete lack of awareness of where his teammates are because he wants to look good doing useless stuff with the ball.
If he learned to do the basics well he would be some player, he can't. He concentrates first on trying to show off.
He put two quality crosses in late in 1st half. They were wipped in and a good height for a CF to attack and score. Just our CF was Calvert-Lewin who wasnt in the box. Hope this Tosun lad gets in there and bags a few!

Why has he not score 10 league goals? I hope he goes in the summer

Hahahaha accusing someone of having an agenda because you rate an absolute donkey of a footballer...were you one of those who wanted McGeady? Do you enjoy horse racing as you seem to like show ponies lol

Boom! Spot on...he was playing to the cameras last couple of games...the bloke thinks hes a clown.
mate those crosses were world class....but.....who were they aiming for lol lol lol
'Played ball' lol
Mate, look at the thread when he signed and after a few games...and then see....no one has changed their opinion apart from a few who seem to overrate players the longer they are injured...
Mate...he should be sold today...to palace. 15mil...
Party time!!!
