He is literally Aiden McGeady. As he's bigger, faster and seems like a cool nice guy who says 'fam' people seem to think he's good.

The guys end product is non-existent. Of any player in midfield or attack you would want making a key pass or having a shot he's be the last person on the list....absolute donkey of a player.

I wish we just sold him...anywhere...to anyone...so I don't have to see his name on the back of one of our shirts again.

So many were hailing McGeady in the same way when we signed him....its actually just bewildering.

Do people not watch Bolasie/McGeady live? Just on youtube or highlights???

Imagine playing Cuco and Bolasie on the left side.

Just lol seriously you fans of Bolasie should form a clique.
Couldn't agree more with this post.

Zat you are wrong about Bolasie. He is a great outlet. Keeps opposition defenders worried and on the back foot. Like all wingers around the world he is frustrating but against Liverpool we would have been camped in our own half but for him. Doesn't matter what winger we play if no one is busting to get in the box then the crosses are pointless. The relief he provided for us against Liverpool was the only thing that actually kept us in the game. He has come back from a year out due to serious injury and is playing OK. Gives us another dimension. Want to see him with Tosun rather than DCL

i do really like him, but he would have to be a bit part player if we have serious ambitions of getting where we want. Not writing tosun off already, but that kind of goes for him too. Hopefully this jan we can bring in that left back we need and either now or summer we need to invest heavily on a rock centre back, a real talented creative wide player and a big name striker. That would probably cost about £150m for those last three.

You usually see teams get in a great starting XI but have a weak and thin squad, sadly i think we've got it the wrong way around, we've got good numbers to have a deep squad to challenge on a couple of fronts ... but we have weaknesses in key areas. Bolasies career stats show that he's never going to be a player to get us top 4 and the rest of our wide players are all youngsters.

Do you reckon he can come back to what he was? I’m hopeful but I do have a bit of doubt.

Difficult to say. But for a lad who has been out for a year he looks ok to me. Lasted 90 mins. Still had some legs. No afraid to take people on. Got in a decent cross or 2. Played a great ball to lookman.
Not that he had a great or even good game v liverpool but he does need game time to be effective. I think we should look at his performances from march onwards to see what he is capable of.

Just keeping the Liverpool defence occupied because they were scared of him allowed us far further up the pitch rather than camped in our own half. That is a positive straight away. The out ball is now more effective rather than a lump to DCL.

I agree with literally every word he said.

In 20 games, that cousin-fornicator across the park has scored more than half the 10 year career total of goals Bolasie.

In 20 games.

I think this says more about our dumb purchasing strategy and draw as a club. There's no way Bolassie is worth over £20 million. Yet we paid it. Salah, for £36 million is a steal by comparison. But make no mistake, he's a top talent and has been for years. He's consistently played at top end clubs. At the minute we can't attract those kinds of players, certainly without the champions league on offer and a credible forward plan.

I keep saying that I would be way happier with Moyes style bargain gems than decent but not outstanding buys for stupid fees.
