`His potential is immense'.

What are the qualities that make him even a potential first team starter? Never rmind immense.

From what i've seen he lacks pace and positional sense. Is awkward on the ball and not comfortable in the air in defensive situations.

I'm probably wrong but a initially wondered whether he wasn't really injured against Millwall, he just didn't fancy it. Cold, driving rain etc etc.

He looked a bit sheepish on the bench 2nd half like.

Was he taken off with an injury or just hooked ? TBH the amount of high balls pumped into our box we could have done with three centre halves for the second half against Millwall.

Its concerning though that we let Millwall get so many high balls in. Yes the centrebacks are complete trash currently but you don’t see good premier league sides allowing the opposition to get quality deliveries into their area. We give away far too many set pieces and don’t pressure the opposition in open play either.

It's because Digne can't tackle without giving a freekick away and Coleman can't keep up with his man, it's suicide mate.

Any update on his injury yet? Silva said in the presser today that they're going to examine it again today before they give the press any information.

Apparently he has got the same metatarsal injury he had when Barca sold him to us injured.
Will be out for quite a while
Good news or bad news?
Whatever it’s been a waste of money

He looked gutted to me. Whether that was gutted he had come off 45 mins into his first start for a while or gutted to realise that he wishes he'd signed for Lyon I don't know.

Probably our best centre back. Him and Keane together had a great run and it was first broken up against Newcastle at home when the bad form started.

Hope his injury isn't long term.

And those are going to continue for awhile. But his potential is immense. He's worth the risk. He could be our Koulibaly.

Lost me a little here, theyre both big blokes...both can bring the ball out and pass...both can tackle...

But...

Koulibaly massively improved when he joined Napoli. His positioning was worked on 1-1 every day in training and his in game intelligence.

Currently Mina lacks both...also doesnt have the same 'grace' for a big man nor pace it seens.

Im still hopeful but wish we had signed Issa Diop from Toulouse £22mil...
