Youve now inadvertently proven your other point wrong...

You inferred (incorrectly) that Brands had lied about watching Mina before the world cup, as if he was an unknown.

Seeing as there was a bid (which youve acknowledged being at least a rumour) by Dortmund of €25mil that should tell you that he was quite well known at the time.

Firstly, I didn't infer. I implied. You inferred. Minor detail but, seeing as we're splitting hairs, an important one.

Secondly, you appear to be stating that the fact that a Borussia Dortmund transfer rumour website posted a rumour about Mina, is definitive, indisputable evidence that Dortmund

a) Were actually interested in Mina
b) Bid €25mil for Mina.

Can't argue with that. Think we leave it there, mate.

Youve totally missed the point.

Youve INFERRED not implied. Youve posted as a conclusion.

The fact is that Marcel Brands knows South America, its no secret.

The fact is that Yerry Mina was considered to be the best defender in Brazil when he was there.

The fact is that there was a deal with Barca and an offer from Dortmund which also shows he was highly rated and well known.

Yet youve concluded (yes inferred) that he was a world cup panic buy.

Its laughable.

Ive also said to stop talking wham in the nicest way possible and youre still trying to have the last word about TWO subjects you have ZERO knowledge about.

In life, people who own up to their mistakes are more highly valued than those who keep digging holes.

Hopefully you take this as a learning experience and (for the third time) move on.

On let's just agree he's not the future. Keane is wank so don't compare them but Mina's not better than Holgate by much if at all.
He dithers on the ball and always passes late to a teammate, putting them under unnecessary pressure.
He has terrible positional discipline and likes a big charge toward the ball.
He's got no acceleration but an ok speed when he's at full gallooty gallop.
He doesn't score gilt edged chances.

Harsh.

When Koulibaly joined Napoli he was the same and it took Sarri (i think) a long time one to one telling him where to stand in training and moving him around.

Mina has all the tools, i think he needs a defensive specialist to come in and drag him by the shirt into positions during drills.

Do that with him and Digne + 2 new players and then lets see how he does.

Hes either good, very good or dreadful in games...

You do know you’re fighting a losing battle here Zat as he’s never ever wrong.

Plus the longer it goes on, his posts will become more condescending and more passive aggressive.

So unless you want to spend the afternoon playing internet ping pong with him, I’d leave it there.

Even by your standards, he’s very strange.

Ive responded to you with the Ancelotti emoji as opposed to the 'sad face' Eddie Howe emoji.

Make of that what you will lol

Its past 10pm here so anything to help me sleep is a bonus ;)

It’s a fact that Yerry Mina was considered the best defender in brazil?

By who? Does their say so, make it a fact?

It’s a fact that there was an offer from Dortmund? Again, if you can please provide evidence that isn’t a Borussia Dortmund rumours site to support this claim, that would be very useful.

Yes it is a FACT.

He won almost everything with Santa Fe, including 2014 domestic championship, 2015 Copa Sudamericana and 2015 Colombian Super Cup. He was chosen for the best young player of the Copa Sudamericana and of course a part of the ideal team of the tournament. This was enough for Brazilian side, Palmeiras, to announced his arrival on May 1st 2016 for $3M. His debut was on July 12th vs. Santos, a match which he scored a goal but also got injured. It didn’t took too long until he became the fans idol with his excellent performances, and dances inside and outside the pitch. Many of Palmeiras fans consider Mina as the best defender they had in the last 15 years. with Palmeiras Mina won the domestic championship in 2016 and was supposed to reach far in the Copa Libertadores, but Palmeiras was eliminated by Ecuadorian side, Barcelona in the quarter final after Mina was injured in the first leg and absent for several months. Without him, Palmeiras lost form. Mina was the Copa Libertadores top scorer between the defenders (3 goals) and was chosen for the best defender in Brazil and was a part of the ideal South America team in 2016.

@COYBL25 is getting worried about my well being so my suggestion would be to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH and not post as fact when you have no knowledge on the subject.

Btw this took me all of 2 mins to find.

Ok fair enough.

So Caglar Soyuncu is the best defender in England because a load of Leicester fans say so.

And all transfer rumour sites only post facts

Thats me told....

Its a bit like watching Mina go for goal...you'll know it will be a poor miss but its the hope that gets you.

Imagine Mina being voted in the tournament team of the South American version of the Europa and Champions leagues 2 years running...

Then being voted as the best defender in Brazil...and signing with Barca with a late bid from Dortmund.

Then suddenly the votes dont count and he was a panic buy after a world cup.

Eddie Howe may not have heard of him I suppose...

Imagine being only able to run a transfer rumours site on facts, though......

Eddie Howe has a third eye, he knows and sees everyone and everything.
