Anderlecht won 4-0.

Onyekuru was on the receiving end of some criticism though. It basically comes down to that he's playing too selfish (and nonchalant after the early lead), you could already see it during the game the manager kept waving his arms towards him.

"Henry should stop thinking that his performances are solely judged upon goals. He is allowed to take on opponents, but the sum of his dribbles should be positive after 90 minutes. Not negative, like now. Especially when he's in acres of space and has little opposition, like against Kortrijk, he should avoid easy loss of the ball. Yes, last week against Moeskroen he scored the winning goal, but I expect more of him".
I like this guy! Clear succinct analysis of what he doesn’t want him to do and what he does, hopefully Henry takes note and is not having his head messed with by the reports that half of Europe want him.

Ha, beat me too it :
Goal! Derby County 0, Ipswich Town 1. Callum Connolly (Ipswich Town) header from the right side of the six yard box to the top right corner. Assisted by Martyn Waghorn with a cross following a corner.
Joe Williams starting for Barnsley.

Always got my eye on Ipswich mate.

Championship
Ipswich Town - (as above) Callum Connolly scored and was substituted in the 72nd minute of a 1-0 away win at Derby County

OS Match Report
"Former Town loanee Tom Lawrence headed wide in the game’s first opening but on five minutes Blues were ahead, Martyn Waghorn’s vicious corner met by Connolly’s glancing header and the ball was judged to have crossed the line after hitting the bar, with Hawkeye in operation."
"Town continued to carry a threat, Adam Webster then finding Ward with an incisive ball, Connolly’s shot denied from the pass inside."
"Nugent was replaced by Chris Martin at the break in the game’s first change but the Rams were almost two down inside two minutes of the restart, Carson denying Connolly from close range.
Connolly was in the thick of the action again seconds later, winning a free-kick 30 yards out after being fouled by Tom Huddlestone. Town lost possession though and Derby countered at pace and it took a superb save from Bialkowski to keep out Huddlestone’s deflected strike."

Twitter stuff
WHAT A START!! Waghorn's corner is met by the Everton loanee, it hits the bar and is cleared, but with the help of Hawkeye it's 1-0 to the Blues!! GET IN!
CLOSE! Town have the first chance of the second-half as Ward's cross sits up nicely for Connolly at the back post, but Carson does well to deny him his second of the evening.

Fan comment
"Connolly seems to be seen as a midfielder now and it isn't difficult to see why, looks a quality player there and reads the game very well - deserved the goal"

Barnsley - Joe Williams played full match and was booked in 0-3 away defeat at Reading

OS Match Report

Twitter stuff
83 - Yellow card for Joe Williams who brings down Bodvarsson.

No particular comments about him.

Anderlecht went out of the cup. I honestly don't think the game could be described as an activity resembling football.

Standard got a fast fluke goal, subsequently they tried to stop the game at every possible moment. The ref wasn't helping for Anderlecht. They didn't get a penalty, Onyekuru got flagged offside when there was no offside, a ball that didn't cross the line etc... His substandard refereeing combined with the overly obvious time wasting of the Standard players led to overexcited fans. They baptised a couple of Standard players with tepid beer. There also was a flare ... The game had to be stopped two times. The Standard coach, a Portuguese fellow called Sa Pinto, dived onto the pitch for no apparent reason. His theatricality got him sent off.

Onyekuru did quite well; could have had an assist. Dived (in a very obvious way) two times for a penalty but tbh I can't blame him; the other side wasn't there to play football.
