The Yak was a decent finisher, probably one of our very best in recent times . Overall I would say Lineker. It’s an attribute sorely missing in this current squad.

Pre injury, he was a beast, had amazing agility in the box, I think it was Sol Campbell who fell on his arse when one on one with him against ports mouth.

Couldn’t half hit it too, Chelsea away if Johnson didn’t duck last second his head would have gone flying.

Not sure how people can have Yakubu ahead of Lukaku?

Both played for us for 4 seasons and Yakubu played in better Everton sides finishing 5th, 5th, 8th, 7th.

Lukaku finished 5th, 11th, 11th, 7th with us.

Yakubu only had 1 season scoring over 10 goals. He got 15, 4, 5, 1. Lukaku hit 10+ every season for us with 15, 10, 18 and 25.

Lukaku 53 in 110 (0.48)

Lukaku is the most deadly I’ve personally seen. That 2016/17 season it was a goal every time the ball went anywhere near him in the box, left foot, right foot, head. Mourinho ruined him by trying to turn him into Lennox Lewis. Hipsters will try and say Yakubu was a better finisher but he wasn’t.
