Not an out an out winger but Sigurdsson from Swansea would improve our team massively. Good replacement for Piennar.

Think you would have to look on the continent for a NO 10 as no one in the English Leagues are capable or affordable (Grealish)

I think sigurdsson is a good player
But I think he's also operated by a lot of people
I'm not sure as I haven't checked but I wouldn't think his goal and assists stats where much better than Naismith who played less games

Also he wasn't good enough for Spurs who bought ericksen who's a class above

And only cost 10mil roughly
Think we can get better

10 assists and 9 goals mate in all comps (35 games). Naismith got 9 goals and 4 assists over 39 games.

Criminally underused at Spurs, but for me he's better operating behind the striker, whereas I think the playmaker we bring in (if we do bring one in) will operate from the left cutting inside primarily (ala Pienaar).
 
Well, i was just thinking about Grealish as he picks up the ball from deep, can pass and also drive forward with the ball which is what Martinez said he wanted.

Villa are up for sale
Best player is Benteke rated at £30mil
Grealish photographed doing crazy stuff

Weve probably got £15mil left and need a LW if Mirallas goes. EDIT : £30mil total?

So surely we could afford him and hed be with Barkley and Stones so Hodgson would see him regularly with them for us and England...

Why couldnt we sign him?

Because he's not that good. Because he's not what we need. Because you can't have a team that's all under 23.
