But nearly every post about a player you want to sign is somebody under 23. Not having a go Zat, you make some decent shouts about signings. Just don't think we'll go anywhere near Grealish.

Hakim Ziyech looks like exactly what we need IMO. I am basing that solely on his goal/assist stats and a boss YouTube video though.

Agreed, my agenda is to have younger players BUT see my thread on the 'core' and Martinez 5 season plan...based off players now i see in the long term Core, Galloway is 19 and Coleman 26...3 seasons 22 and 29.

Stones/Barkley would be 24 ish and McCarthy 27 i think so all good ages for the squad overall in 3 seasons time.

I think thats how we will progress as a club, building out this 'core' over 3 seasons and adding in Cleverley/Deulofeu types for bargain fees whilst spending BIG one one signing each summer to fill a key role

I'm just hoping that Martinez gets his man, really. Having said that, I do think Ever Banega checks all the right boxes for us. But surely there are other comparable targets whom we are more likely to be able to get.

First and main thing that puts Bobby off is player being a tit. He wont be buying tits...Thats why he was not serious with Payet

Not recently we havent, its late here so probably forgotten someone but Fellaini/McCarthy and now Mirallas to go perhaps.

Also we should be ok for cash due to TV money and the enormous legion of players we will lose in the next 12 months:

At the least frees up bundles of wages.
